Mathology Question of the Day
Points-200

I have a question that puzzled me for days. The question is: My friend and I were about to buy 1 kg of meat for 50 rupees. We thought to divide the money to be paid equally. The butcher is well known to me, so he reduced 5 rupees. We BOTH gave 2 rupees as tips to him. Each will pay 25 rupees. 50 rupees - 5 rupees= 45 rupees. Divide 45 rupees by 2. So, each pays 22.5 rupees. Each gives tips of 2 rupees. 22.5 rupees + 2 rupees = 24.5 rupees. Now, multiply 24.5 by 2, which is 49 rupees. Then, where is my one rupee? This is little trickier...
